Muddy water Mississippi preacher’s kid Danny Myrick grew up playing, singing and writing for his family gospel band in south Mississippi and had his first #1 gospel song at the age of 17. Upon moving to Nashville, Danny had several more southern gospel and Contemporary Christian hits before founding 90’s country rock band Western Flyer, with whom he had numerous top 40 hits. Danny has gone on to have cuts on a diverse range of artists from Montgomery Gentry to Joe Cocker to Maddie & Tae and has celebrated many hits, such as Craig Morgan’s “International Harvester, Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah”, LoCash’s “I Love This Life” and 2009’s most played country smash, “She’s Country”. In 2020, Danny released his first solo EP “King Of Jones County”, featuring the acclaimed song and video “God Is A Gun”, and produced recent #1 albums “Love Out Of Time” by The Voice Season 17 winner Jake Hoot and “Company’s Comin’ by Actor/Comedian/Social Influencer Leslie Jordan featuring Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton, Eddie Vedder, Brandi Carlile, TJ Osborne and more.
Shelly Fairchild is a Nashville, Tennessee based, Jackson, Mississippi born musician who has toured with an array of country artists spanning from Tanya Tucker to Martina McBride to Keith Urban. Her work is bluesy, potent, and distinctive—informed by her struggles and victories across relationships and places both personal and professional. Fairchild is a regular guest on the Grand Ole Opry, hosts a monthly LGBTQ+ night at famed Nashville institution Lipstick Lounge, and was named one of Rolling Stone Country’s “Top 10 Artists You Need To Know.” Her work has also been featured by productions like Grey’s Anatomy, Selling Sunset, and Riverdale. New to the Kill Rock Stars family, she is currently in the process of writing and recording her next full length album.
Georgia-born songwriter and producer, Travis Howard, felt like a misfit early on in East Hollywood until he started writing songs. Suddenly everybody wanted to hear his story because it was everyone’s story.
Travis began his career writing hits with Miranda Lambert and ended up working some up with Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Waylon Payne, Brooks & Dunn and Reba. Being based in L.A., he found success with film & TV cuts as well. Recently, Travis teamed up with fellow songwriter, Danny Myrick, to produce the first album for the late comedic actor, Leslie Jordan, creating an all-star album of duets called, Company’s Comin’, featuring Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlisle, Eddie Vedder, Dolly Parton, TJ Osborne and many, many more.
